Järgmise nädala neljapäeva õhtul, 11. mail kell 18-20 korraldame järjekordse CyberMeetUp ürituse Tallinnas Telliskivi asumis Palo Alto klubis. Üritus jätkab samasuguse formaadiga: esimene tund aega toimub programm laval, mida kanname ka otsepildis veebi üle. Järgmise tunni jooksul kutsume teid kõiki aga üksteisega rõõmsalt aega veetma ning küberi teemadel arutama.
We’re delighted to invite you to our next CyberMeetUp event on Thursday, May 11th at 6pm at the Palo Alto club in the Telliskivi area in Tallinn. We’re continuing with the same format: the first hour will feature talks from the stage which will also be broadcast live over Facebook Live and Youtube. After that there will be time to network, hang out with colleagues, find new friends and business partners and talk about cybersecurity.
This time we’re extremely happy to announce our guest speakers from Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia: Petr Švenda, Václav Matyáš, Lukasz Michal Chmielewski and Adam Janovský. Petr Švenda is best known in the Estonian cybersecurity community as part of the team that discovered the vulnerability in the Estonian ID-card in 2017 which lead to the revocation of some 800 000 private keys. Thanks to his friendships with Estonian CERT-team members, we were notified and were able to act quickly to address the vulnerability before it was ever exploited (a short interview in Estonian is here: https://epl.delfi.ee/artikkel/82049313/tsehhi-teadlast-ullatas-kui-ruttu-eesti-id-kaardi-turvaveast-teatas-ja-kui-kiiresti-siin-tegutseti).
He and his team will be in Tallinn and will take the stage at the CyberMeetUp to discuss certified products security: how has it changed after ID-card crisis and how to discover new vulnerabilities.
We also have guest speakers for the Threat Landscape part of the CyberMeetUp. Our colleagues from Cybers – who provides incident response and security operations centre services to private customers – will give and overview of the threats they see.
The program part of the CyberMeetUp will be in English. After the official part, you are more than welcome to stay, network, eat, drink and discuss in whatever language you wish.
