Please join us at the Palo Alto Club on Tuesday, December 12th for the final CyberMeetUp of 2023. This is a monthly meetup event for the cybersecurity community, an excuse to come out and see old friends, colleagues and competitors.

The program starts at around 18, we have a nice round of speakers lined up for you this Tuesday. We’re going to start off with Dan Bogdanov of Cybernetica who is going to give an overview of a research paper they are working on which deals with the cybersecurity of AI/ML systems. 

Then, a guest speaker from Finland. Aleksi Rantaniemi from the Finnish National Cybersecurity Center, representing the National Coordination Center cell that deals with Cybersecurity competence building, will tell us what how the threat landscape looks from Finland. He will also talk on how to collaborate between the Nordics-Baltics when applying jointly to EU projects.

And then we want to tell you a little bit more about how EU projects go – since there are some open funding availabilities but all of them need joint applications. Charles Hector Pagan and Hedi Peterson from Tartu University will give you a research point of view about writing projects, collaborating in projects and how project proposals are assessed. They are research-agnostic but super-important when applying for Horizon projects on cybersecurity in the future.

The program will be in English and this time the whole program will be streamed online through Facebook Live and Youtube.
