RIA CyberMeetUp 8. juunil 2023
Come join us at our next CyberMeetUp event at Palo Alto Club on Thursday, June 8th.
Once a month we invite the local Estonian cybersecurity community to discuss the threat landscape, the technology, upcoming initiatives and other projects in cybersecurity. Also, this is a great place to find like-minded cybersecurity enthusiasts and a good excuse to get together with old colleagues and friends.
The program is in English to make it more accessible to our friends who speak more cyber than Estonian.
Our format is such that the CyberMeetUp will feature an hour of speakers which will be broadcast live on Facebook and Youtube between 18 and 19. After that there will be time to hang out and network with your colleagues, partners and even competitors. And of course, after we finish at Palo Alto Club, there are always bars nearby to continue the cybersecurity discussions.
As always we have a recurring segment called “Threat Landscape” where we have a guest speaker – the incoming head of the Cyber Crime department of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board Ago Ambur.
But this June event will mostly focus on innovation in cybersecurity. We at RIA will introduce a new CyberAccelerator project for startups which includes grants of 48000€ for the participating teams. And for the main course, Tehnopol will present the NATO Diana Accelerator which is also accessible for cybersecurity companies and enthusiasts. Our good friends at BSides will make an appearance and tell you about their plans as well.

Why should you join us? We invite you to join us if you work in the field of cybersecurity, wish to work or contribute to the field in any other way. Come join us if you study, research or teach cybersecurity. Whether you are an experienced hacker or building a cybersecurity startup (and this time we mean you especially, just look at the agenda!), we invite you to participate. (We have snacks and drinks!)
