Cybersecurity Community

To support the Estonian cybersecurity community, there are initiatives to foster collaboration and partnership building. The community members can connect through RIA CyberMeetUp events, while Estonian organisations and institutions have the opportunity to increase their visibility and find international partners via the European Cybersecurity Atlas Platform. These activities support knowledge exchange, innovation and the development of the cybersecurity domain.

RIA CyberMeetUp

RIA CyberMeetUp is a series of events for the cyber community that started in March 2023. These meetups provide a platform for discussions on the threat landscape, introduction of new initiatives and projects and finding like-minded people or partners. The events are held in English in order to include the international community as well as our Estonian community.

First part of the event are talks from cybersecurity experts and second part is dedicated to networking.
Come and take part in CyberMeetUp as a speaker or a participant if cybersecurity is your focus area, whether as an expert, a researcher, a student or an enthusiast.

For information about the next CyberMeetUp, visit the events subpage of RIA Facebook page, as well as LinkedIn.

The next RIA CyberMeetUps will take place on May 21st and on June 10th in Tartu

The presentations of CyberMeetUp will be broadcast on RIA LinkedIn channel, RIA Facebook channel, and RIA YouTube channel.

If you would like to receive invitations to similar cybersecurity community events through the RIA CyberMeetUp mailing list or you have other related ideas for a collaboration, feel free to write to the Cybersecurity Community Coordinator Kaisa Lindenburg at [email protected].

European Cybersecurity Atlas

In December 2025 the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) launched the European Cybersecurity Atlas Platform (Atlas). The goal of Atlas is to foster collaboration within the wider European cybersecurity community by visualizing the competence of cybersecurity entities in the member states.

Organisations can use the platform as a tool for increasing their visibility, finding relevant partners, expanding their research network or showcasing their expertise to the European cybersecurity stakeholders. The National Cybersecurity Coordination Centres (NCC) will process the applications of the national cybersecurity community entities based on the JRC taxonomy and form fields given by the ECCC.

If an organisation registered in Estonia is interested in applying to the Atlas community, then a contact person of the organisation can fill in an application. Estonian applications are processed by the NCC-EE. For further questions please contact the Cybersecurity Community Coordinator Kaisa Lindenburg at [email protected].

Fill in the application

If an organisation is registered in another member state, then an NCC of that country can process the application. For further information please contact the appropriate NCC. The list of National Coordination Centres

While each country is opening its application process, the current members of Atlas can be viewed by accessing the platform with EU Login or eID.
