Windows users will not be able to sign documents online with an ID card in the new Chrome version (version 113.0) released on 3 May and in the soon-to-be-released Edge version (version 113.0), or to authenticate using the new Web eID solution if an e-service is used.
The Information System Authority (RIA) is aware of the problem and is working on a possible solution.
If you already have the new version of Chrome installed on your computer, we recommend you use Firefox or Mobile-ID for authentication and signing.
