As always, we’re going to meet up at the Palo Alto Club at the Telliskivi area, with the program starting at 18. The program will be in English to make it more accessible to our friends who speak more cyber than Estonian.
This Tuesday we’re inviting our friends from the Estonian Internet Foundation to the CyberMeetUp. Mr Timo Võhmar will talk about a new secure authentication service called eeID which is available for companies to reduce their administrative burden of identifying end-users who otherwise use various means of identification schemes from different countries.
In the recurring segment about the Threat Landscape, the Analysis and Prevention Department team will give an overview of some of the threat actors behind DDoS attacks. This presentation will not be available to view online, so if possible, come on down to the Palo Alto Club in person and listen in.
So the agenda will be as follows:
- New cybersecurity initiatives by RIA
- eeID authentication tool introduction by Timo Võhmar (Estonian Internet Foundation)
- Threat Landscape and DDoS attacks by RIA (offline – no livestream)
- Networking and hanging out
Come join us if you are interested in cybersecurity – if you work in the field, wish to work in the field or contribute to the field in any way. From the public sector to the private sector, from students to executives, this is a good place to find other people who think about these things all the time. (Plus, we have snacks and drinks!)
The event is co-financed by the European Union and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
