RIA CyberMeetUp April 18th 2024

On April 18th, starting at 19:00, we are gathering for the traditional CyberMeetUp - April edition! All cyber enthusiasts are invited to the Palo Alto Club in Tallinn (Telliskivi 57).

During the first hour (19:00–20:00) we will hear about various events that are important to the community. Part I will be conducted in English and live-streamed on Youtube and Facebook (but we know it’s not as fun!).

19:00–20:00 speakers list:

  • LtCol Urmet Tomp (Exercise Director, NATO CCDCOE) and Adrian Venables (Cybersecurity Programme Director, Taltech) will provide an exclusive look into the world's most extensive live-fire cyber defence exercise organised by NATO CCDCOE – Locked Shields, demonstrating its continued relevance and expansive global engagement.
  • Arne Ansper (CTO, Cybernetica AS) who will speak about the conference dedicated to post-quantum cryptography taking place on May 13th and about the significance of the topic.
  • Märt Hiietamm (Analysis and Prevention Department, RIA) will cover our traditional segment “Threat Landscape”.

Now, if you have ever attended CyberMeetUp in person, then you know that Part II of the event is networking where in a very informal setting, you get to talk to like-minded people, share ideas and contacts! Networking starts at 20:00 and lasts at least a couple more hours with snacks, drinks and a great company – you are welcome to join! Please RSVP on Facebook or LinkedIn.

This event is co-funded by the European Union and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
