RIA CyberMeetUp February 22nd 2024
We are happy to invite you to the February edition of RIA CyberMeetUp. This time we focus on the future because the first 7 companies finishing up the RIA’s StartUp accelerator program called CyberAccelerator are going to step up in front of you to introduce themselves up on the stage!
A long long time ago, back in September 2023 these startups began their 6-month journey to become bigger, better, faster and stronger as companies and service providers. They aim to make it easier, cheaper, and better to provide cybersecurity services to business clients. For six months they have been tutored, mentored, pampered and guided toward bigger and better business. So we invite you on Thursday, February 22nd at 18 at the Palo Alto Club in Telliskivi.
We start off with the Cyber Threat Landscape brought to you by RIA’s Kaisa Vooremäe who represents the department of analysis and prevention. She will discuss the issues brought up in RIA’s annual cybersecurity review that will definitely be available in English soon.
And after she’s done, the stage belongs to the startups. Each startup has a couple of minutes to pitch their product or service, a couple of more minutes for questions after that. Seven startups, five-six minutes each and we’re done! After that you can go and snag that investment opportunity into the Next Big Thing you just saw.
The program starts at 18, the whole thing will be in English and the program will be streamed online through Facebook Live and Youtube. After the program is over, feel free to invest in any of those companies, or just stay, have a drink, a snack, and a conversation with your peers.
If you or your colleagues wish to participate, please mark your attendance either on Facebook or LinkedIn, so that we can plan our snacks better. The event is aimed at members of the Estonian Cybersecurity community – anyone who believes themselves to be part of this community – so please spread the word, invite your colleagues and friends.
This event is co-funded by the European Union and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
