RIA CyberMeetUp November 14th 2024
On November 14th, starting at 18:00, we invite you once again to the RIA CyberMeetUp, taking place in our usual place – Palo Alto Club (Telliskivi 57, Tallinn). We shall discuss recent events, share news and experiences within the community and see each other face to face!
This gathering is special, as we will be collaborating with our partner-project CHESS Cyber-security Excellence Hub. For the occasion, we’ve invited experts from both the Czech Republic and Estonia to the stage. The programme will also feature the traditional overview of the threat landscape, presented this time by the Estonian IT Centre.
List of Speakers
- Andreas Õun (Head of Security Operations Centre, Estonian IT Centre) – Threat Landscape: Cybersecurity Insights from the Estonian IT Centre.
- Zafer Balkan (Board Member, (ISC)² Estonia Chapter NGO) – Discovering the (ISC)² Estonia Chapter.
- Pavel Čeleda (Associate Professor in Informatics, Masaryk University) – Innovating Tabletop Exercises for Crisis Preparedness and Resilience.
- Vashek Matyáš (Professor and CHESS Project Coordinator, Masaryk University) – Analysing Security Certification Artifacts with sec-certs.
- Nikita Snetkov (Junior Researcher, Cybernetica) & Jelizaveta Vakarjuk (Junior Researcher, Cybernetica) – Post-quantum cryptography: state-of-the-art, migration and future problems.
The first part of the event will be broadcasted on RIA’s YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn channels.
Starting from 19:00, we’ll continue with informal discussions for a few hours.
This event is co-funded by the European Union and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
