RIA CyberMeetUp October 17th 2024

We are looking forward to welcoming the Estonian cybersecurity community to Palo Alto Club (Telliskivi 57, Tallinn) on Thursday, October 17th at 18:00. This is a place to meet new and familiar faces and hear about all the news or success stories you haven’t heard yet!

As usual, the first hour of the event (18:00–19:00) is dedicated mostly to listening and asking questions from the speakers and will be streamed live.

We’re happy to start the season with a special guest – Joonas Heiter, Director General of the Estonian Information System Authority (RIA), who will share his perspective on threat landscape and give the community a broader overview.

Just a few days earlier, the second batch of startups from the RIA Cyber Accelerator program, created in cooperation with the Technopol Startup Incubator, will have completed their program, and they are eager to present their work to you:

  • Agu Remmelg (Coursy.io)
  • Armands Antans (Sehaci)
  • Rasmus Välling (SiliconBox)
  • Ignat Bobrovich (Passport.gg)
  • Lorenzo Francesco Rea (ResilientX)

Additionally, Kaisa Lindenburg, RIA's Cybersecurity Community Coordinator, will give a brief overview of the upcoming Baltic Cybersecurity Innovation Forum CyberBazaar, taking place on December 3rd-5th.

The most beloved part of RIA CyberMeetUp begins at 19:00, when you can talk to the CyberSec community in person, exchange news, and network — refreshments will be available to facilitate the conversations even more!

Let’s MeetUp on October 17th!

This event is co-funded by the European Union and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
